Le mwbwfotodermatiti sono un gruppo di mwcadermatiti indotte da cause diverse e spesso complesse.

In esse, sostanze endogene, non sempre identificate, vanno ad interagire con mwcgradiazioni elettromagnetiche nella banda dell'mwcwultravioletto o del mwdavisibile provocando manifestazioni cliniche differenti, ben individuabili.

La principale caratteristica che accomuna tutte queste affezioni è un'elevata mwdgfotosensibilità, cioè una risposta mwdwcutanea abnorme ad mweairradiazione mweqsolare o artificiale.
